Acting Washington bureau chief Karey Van Hall has left her position at Reuters to serve as news editor for POLITICO. Van Hall was named acting bureau chief in January 2015. Prior to this, she was Washington news editor. She also served as Washington editor in charge of company news since April 2010, in addition to her duties as financial regulation correspondent for the news service.
