Washington Post Live founding editor Mary Jordan will move to the national desk as a political reporter for The Washington Post, effective Feb. 2. Her primary focus will be the 2016 presidential campaign. Replacing Jordan at Post Live is Lois Romano, currently editor of events at POLITICO. Romano served a previous stint at WaPo from 1984 to 2011, until she left the paper to join the then-combined Newsweek/DailyBeast organization. Washington Post Live is the events division at The Washington Post, hosting on-the-record conferences and events that are open to the media and streamable for the public; follow the conversation on Twitter.
Delighted I'll be returning to the @washingtonpost as editor of Washington Post Live. Thank you sincerely to my friends @politico
