Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Stuart Scott has passed away. Scott was an anchor for ESPN delivering sports headlines on SportsCenter and Monday Night Countdown. Prior to anchoring SportsCenter, he served as an original SportSmash anchor on ESPN2s SportsNight; host of Edge NFL Matchup, ESPN2s NBA 2Night, National Basketball Association news and highlight program; as well as host of ESPN2s SportsNight: College Football Edition. Scott also appeared with Chris Berman and Tom Jackson on NFL PrimeTime. He joined ESPN in 1993.
