The New Yorker has announced some editorial changes to its online editorial staff. David Haglund has joined the site as its literary editor. He was most recently a senior editor at Slate. Amelia Lester has been promoted to executive editor for the site, most recently overseeing the “Goings About Town” feature for TNY, She first joined the staff in 2009. Lastly, Joshua Rothman will serve as culture editor for the site. He joined TNY as an archive editor in 2012 after two years as a columnist for The Boston Globe.
