Bruce Wallace has been named global energy and environmental policy editor at Reuters‘ Washington bureau, effective Jan. 12. He previously served as foreign editor for the Los Angeles Times from 2008 to 2012, and prior to that, was Tokyo bureau chief beginning in 2004. In his new role, Wallace will oversee the bureau’s energy team, which as of Jan. 15 will include reporter Yeganeh June Torbati. Torbati was a Middle East and Iran correspondent for Reuters covering politics and financial news from Dubai in 2012 and 2013.
