Matthew Kaminski, a Wall Street Journal editorial board member, has been named executive editor of the forthcoming POLITICO Europe bureau. He will begin his new role in spring 2015. Kaminski moved to the New York bureau for The Wall Street Journal in July 2008. He was previously the editorial page editor for the Europe edition of the paper, based in Paris since 2005.
