The Oregonian welcomes Tony Hernandez  and Carli Brosseau. Hernandez joins the paper as a local  governments reporter. He previously served as a local government reporter for the Knoxville News-Sentinel in Tennessee. Brosseau is serving as a data reporter for the Justice team. She comes from the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, Arizona, where she served in the same role.

Also, Ben Sherman has been promoted to director of sports and multimedia for The Oregonian and OregonLive.com. He has been with the paper since 2002 and most recently served as director of digital operations.
