The Washington Post has announced two changes to its editorial staff. First, Tracy Grant has been named deputy managing editor. She most recently served as the editor for PostLeadership, previously occupying roles such as Weekend editor, KidsPost editor and features editor, also the first to hold the title of web editor. Grant joined WaPo in 1993 after a stint with The Miami Herald.
Additionally, Adam Kushner has been named the editor for the Outlook section. He follows outgoing Outlook editor Carlos Lozada, who was recently named WaPo’s new nonfiction book critic. Kushner was most recently the editor for PostEverything, joining the outlet in early 2014 after serving as executive editor for the National Journal.
