The Star Tribune has named Allison Sherry as Washington, D.C. bureau chief. Her official start date is March 2014. Sherry currently serves as the Washington, D.C. correspondent for The Denver Post. She joined the Post in January 2001 as a higher education reporter based out of Colorado. The Star Tribune is written for the general public in the Twin Cities in Minn. Although the paper focuses on regional news, the Minneapolis and St. Paul editions offer the same international, national, state, metro and consumer news.
