Iza Montalvo has been named editor in chief of La Prensa in Orlando. She replaces Maria Padilla, who is focusing on her Orlando Latino blog after the paper restructured operations. Having previously served as a news reporter at La Prensa, Montalvo rejoined the publication after serving as press secretary for Rep. Alan M. Grayson. Prior to that role, she worked as a special correspondent for El Nuevo Dia in Puerto Rico and as an assignment desk editor for Univision TV 26.
