Today, we spoke on a webinar today hosted by the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) on what independent businesses should know about local search. The presentation covered the fundamentals of search and offered a strategic framework for approaching local search engine optimization (SEO), focusing on tactics for both on-site and external SEO.
Much of the content for the external SEO portion was adapted from a blog post I wrote about a month ago on how to engage in link building for local search. I’ve posted the presentation to SlideShare in case anyone would like to review the content.
