The Ñ Beat host and WLS-TV reporter Theresa Gutierrez has announced that she will retire. She started with the station as a production assistant in 1972, and has held many positions including producer, reporter and host of numerous programs over the years. Gutierrez made her name as one of the first Hispanic women in Chicago to both appear on-air and as a producer. Her last day will be October 31.
