Emily Bazelon has joined The New York Times Magazine full-time as a staff writer, after contributing to the magazine since 2007. She will continue to contribute to Slate’s Political Gabfest. Bazelon was most recently a senior editor for Slate. She was co-editor of Double X and edited the section after it was folded back into Slate in 2010. Before joining Slate, she worked as an editor and writer at Legal Affairs magazine and as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.
