Alexandra Peers will rejoin The New York Observer in August to serve as culture editor. Previous NY Observer culture editor Sarah Douglas recently moved to ARTNews. Peers was on staff with the Observer from March 2010 to July 2011 as editor-at-large overseeing arts coverage. She also enjoyed a 19 year tenure with The Wall Street Journal beginning in 1984.
