The National Journal has hired three new staffers. Ben Pershing, formerly a staff writer at The Washington Post, has been named Washington editor and will begin in his new role on July 14. Also during that time, The American Prospect’s executive editor, Bob Moser, will join as senior editor. Rounding out the group is Dan Newhauser, who will board as a Congress reporter in August. He is currently a staff writer covering the House at Roll Call.
Bittersweet to leave @rollcall after 5ish years, but happy to announce I'm joining @nationaljournal to cover Congress
