Kathryn Brown is joining WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina as a weekend anchor and a reporter during the week. Brown comes from WCBS-TV in New York City where she has served as a reporter since January 2010. She starts her new position on August 25. Brown replaces Renee Chou who will be moving time slots to anchor the weekday morning broadcasts at WRAL starting in August.  Chou joined the CBS affiliate in 2004, and has previously served as an anchor and reporter at KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
