Defy Media has purchased GameTrailers and its properties from Viacom. Brandon Jones will lead the site as editor in chief going forward, and  editorial director Ryan Stevens and previews editor Justin Speer will depart on July 15 and July 4, respectively. GameTrailers is an online destination for video game reviews and shows, and offers Addicting Games and Shockwave which cover online flash and arcade games.
