Kim Wheeler is stepping down from her role as a weekend anchor at WKYC-TV in Cleveland on July 6, ending her longtime run as anchor of the station. She will return to her old role as education reporter for the station. Wheeler joined WKYC-TV in August 1995. She previously was an anchor and reporter at WDBJ-TV in Roanoke, Virginia. Prior to that, she was an anchor and reporter in Bluefield, West Virginia. Sara Shookman will take over the weekend anchoring come July while a permanent replacement is found.
