Adam Sternbergh has announced his move to New York magazine from The New York Times Magazine. He has served as NYT Mag’s culture editor since 2010. At New York magazine, he will be a features writer for print, also contributing online to the Vulture blog. This move marks a return to the publication for Sternbergh, who previously served as an editor at large before his tenure at NYT Mag. The news also comes on the heels of the announcement last week that another NYT staffer, Annie Lowrey, also announced a move to New York magazine. For a sampling of the Big Apple’s fashion, culture, food and other fun, follow New York on Twitter.
TWIMC: Very excited to be joining @NYMag next month as fulltime writer. Features for print; essays for @Vulture; sporadic charticles likely.

Very much enjoyed 3 years at @NYTMag but am psyched to a) work with the talented @LaneBrown & co. and b) return to liberal use of profanity.
