The Wire has named Dashiell Bennett editor, following Gabriel Snyder’s departure in January 2014. Bennett had previously served as news editor since fall of 2013, and has written for the outlet since October 2011. Prior to joining The Wire, he was a writer for the sports page at Business Insider and an editor for Gawker Media.
