Ian Sherr will join consumer tech news site CNET as a reporter in June to enhance its coverage of video games, additionally covering consumer electronics. He most recently spent four years with The Wall Street Journal’s San Francisco bureau covering similar beats. Sherr’s term with the WSJ follows freelance gigs with Reuters, Agence France Presse and California-based outlets such as the Los Angeles Times and San Francisco Chronicle.
