Kim Severson is shifting from her role as The New York Times Atlanta bureau chief, and will serve as a domestic correspondent focusing on food. She will remain in Atlanta. Taking over as bureau chief is Richard Fausset, who comes from the Los Angeles Times’ Mexico City bureau, where he served as correspondent since 2012.
