Christopher Emsden has left The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. He was most recently the deputy bureau chief overseeing the editorial office in Rome for the paper. Emsden served in this role since January 2012, with a previous role as news editor for European economies at Dow Jones. He first joined WSJ in November 2002, after a tenure as managing editor overseeing the now-rebranded International Herald Tribune’s Italy Daily feature.
