Alex Pareene has left Salon.com. He had served as senior writer for the outlet, as well as contributed to the War Room blog since April 2010. Pareene will join a yet-to-be named digital magazine produced by Matt Taibi and focused on financial and political corruption. There, he will serve as executive editor. The launch date of the digital publication has yet to be determined.
