Stephanie Banchero has announced her departure from The Wall Street Journal, effective May 2. Banchero has served as the WSJ’s lead national education reporter since April 2010, and previously covered education for the Chicago Tribune since 1997. Banchero will join the Chicago-based Joyce Foundation as a senior program officer. Joyce Foundation is a charitable organization funding many non-profit organizations in several fields including education, employment and environment.
