NPR has named Ruth Sherlock and Diaa Hadid as correspondents. Sherlock will cover Lebanon and Syria and will be based out of Beirut. She has served as the US editor for The Daily Telegraph for the past two years.  Hadid will cover Afghanistan and Pakistan out of Islamabad and previously served as The New York Times’ Middle East correspondent out of Jerusalem.
