After one year at the Houston Chronicle, Paul Bomberger has left his reporting and editing position in search for other newsroom opportunities. Bomberger joined the Chronicle in March 2016 as metro editor overseeing healthcare, transportation, science, the environment and the business of higher education. Prior to that, he was the assistant business editor at the Philadelphia Enquirer, and has also worked for Crain’s Benefits Outlook as managing editor.  Follow the Houston Chronicle on Twitter.
