After more than 15 years at the helm, Richard David Story has left his post as editor in chief of Departures, effective March 10. A new top editor is expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks; in the meantime, Time Inc’s luxury and lifestyle title editorial director, Nathan Lump, will oversee Departures. David Story joined the luxe glossy in 2000, and prior to that he held senior editorial roles at a variety of magazines, including features editor of Vogue, senior editor of InStyle and assistant managing editor of New York magazine.
