Mark Sappenfield has been promoted to editor of The Christian Science Monitor. Sappenfield was previously national news editor of the newspaper, where he’s been since 2001. He replaces Marshall Ingwerson, who announced his resignation in December. Follow The Christian Science Monitor on Twitter.
