Kate Bennett and Hunter Schwarz have moved to CNN as White House reporters. Both reporters join from The Independent Journal Review where they co-wrote the noontime politics newsletter, The Political Edit. Together at CNN, they will launch a new newsletter and report for CNN Politics’ White House team. Bennett has also previously been a reporter at Politico and a fashion editor at Washingtonian Magazine. Prior to Independent Journal Review, Schwarz was a reporter for The Washington Post and Buzzfeed. Follow CNN on Twitter.
