Josh White and Simone Sebastian have been promoted at The Washington Post to take command of the America desk. White was previously the paper’s education editor since 2012. Prior to that, he served as investigative reporter, enterprise reporter, military correspondent, and crime and courts reporter. Sebastian has served as the paper’s assignment editor for the financial desk and Wonkblog since November 2015.
