Mashable has announced staff promotions alongside the addition of a new managing editor.
- Foster Kamer begins as managing editor on Oct. 31. Most recently Kamer was executive editor at mental_floss, which recently folded its print edition.
- Senior editor Jenni Ryall has been promoted to director of editorial programming. She previously served as founding editor of Mashable Australia.
- Science editor Andrew Freedman has been promoted to senior editor, science and special projects. He joined Mashable as a reporter in 2014.
