Kim Johnson Flodin has been promoted to news editor for Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma at the Associated Press, a role she has been filling on an interim basis since July. In this position, she will work with reporters and photographers throughout the three states to break the biggest news stories and set the news agenda. Flodin first joined AP in 2000 as a staff photographer and has spent the past six years as the photo news editor for the Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma region. She remains based in Dallas.
