The Kansas City Star has gone through a few changes. Yael Abouhalkah has left The Kansas City Star after being with the paper for almost 37 years. Editorial page editor Lewis Diuguid, who joined the paper in 1977, has also left. Colleen McCain Nelson is the incoming editorial page editor, and will start after the election.
