Kieran Murray has been named Washington bureau chief for Reuters, and will take up the role in January. Murray is currently the news editor for Latin American and the Caribbean for Reuters in Mexico City. He replaces Kevin Krolicki, who was promoted to regional editor for the Americas in May.
