Fusion has promoted Dodai Stewart to editor in chief, up from executive editor. She replaces Alexis Madrigal, who has stepped back to editor at large and will focus on tech, housing and trade reporting. Stewart previously spent seven years at Jezebel before joining Fusion as director of cultural coverage. In her new role, she will help integrate the former Gawker Media sites which were acquired by Fusion’s parent company, Univision, earlier this year. Follow Fusion on Twitter.
