The Wall Street Journal has announced a slew of new appointments to its Money and Investing team.
- Lisa Beilfuss joins the Wealth Management group as a reporter from the paper’s Real-Time desk.
- Chris Dieterich will rejoin the paper as the “Market Maniac” reporter. He has been a columnist and blogger for Barron’s since 2014 and previously worked as a markets reporter at WSJ.
- Brian Hershberg, previously economics news editor, has been named wealth management editor.
- Asjylyn Loder joins WSJ as a reporter covering ETFs. She has covered a similar beat for Bloomberg since 2009.
- Alexander Osipovich joins WSJ as a reporter covering the futures market and major exchanges. He previously served as commodities editor at Risk.net.
- Alison Sider, previously an energy industry reporter, has moved to the oil and natural gas beat. She will relocate from Houston to New York.
- John Carney shifts over to the banking team to cover Wall Street, having previously been editor for WSJ Markets.
- Nicole Friedman now covers Berkshire Hathaway as well as insurance. She previously covered energy markets.
- Heather Gillers adds pensions to her existing beat of municipal bonds and municipal finance. She joined WSJ in March.
- Daniel Huang, previously on the visuals team, is now a reporter covering stocks.
- Bradley Hope is moving to London to cover the city and the Brexit aftermath. He joined WSJ in 2013 covering market structure.
- Timothy Martin will relocate to East Asia in the next few months to cover technology. He has been covering pensions.
- Erik Holm has been named markets editor for the Real-Time desk. He has been an online editor for Money & Investing, including the MoneyBeat blog.
