Daisuke Wakabayashi will join the New York Times in San Francisco on August 29 as a tech reporter covering Google. He comes to the NYT from the WSJ, where he has covered stories about Apple for the last three years. Wakabayashi is a veteran journalist who has also worked in the WSJ Tokyo bureau and spent nine years with Reuters. Follow the New York Times on Twitter.
