The New York Times has rehired Gabriel Dance as deputy investigations editor. Dance has spent the past two-and-a-half years as the digital managing editor at The Marshall Project, and prior to that spent three-and-a-half years at The Guardian as an interactive editor. Dance had previously been on staff at The New York Times from 2006 until 2010, when he served as a multimedia producer.
Additionally, Pamela Paul will now oversee daily books coverage in addition to the Sunday Book Review. Paul has served as the book review editor for the paper since 2013, and has been with the Times’s book section since 2011. Follow The New York Times on Twitter.
