The staff of the Wall Street Journal‘s Chicago bureau is getting a shakeup, as the newspaper recently announced some personnel changes, including:
- Patrick McGroarty will be the new deputy bureau chief. He most recently was based in the WSJ’s Johannesburg bureau covering elections and the region’s economy.

- Heather Haddon is now reporting on the food and agriculture industry out of the Chicago bureau. She most recently was based out of the New York bureau, covering New Jersey politics and government.
- Andrew Tangel will also join the Chicago bureau soon to cover manufacturing. He most recently was based in the New York bureau covering transportation in the metropolitan area.
