Alan Murray has been named chief content officer for Time Inc., replacing the outgoing Evelyn Webster. Murray has served as Fortune magazine’s editor since August 2014 and will continue in that capacity until a replacement can be found. Murray has previously served as Washington bureau chief for both CNBC and The Wall Street Journal, where he also served as an executive editor for online content and an economics reporter.
