Ryan Sharp has been promoted to sports editor at The Oklahoman; he is replacing Mike Sherman, who recently left to go to the Tampa Bay Times. Sharp was previously the assistant sports editor, a role he has held since 2006. He joined the paper in 2004 as a sports copy editor and page designer.
