Tampa Bay Times is adding and shuffling around staff members. Jeff Harrington is returning to the business desk as a reporter after serving as deputy editor covering government and politics. Harrington has been with the paper since 1998. Michael Van Sickler will be replacing Jeff Harrington as the government and politics editor. Van Sickler was most recently the assistant metro editor for Tampa Bay Times and was an investigative reporter when he started at the paper in 2003. Lastly, Mike Sherman has left The Oklahoman after leading the sports department for 14 years to join Tampa Bay Times as sports editor. Sherman will start his new job in early August. As one of the country’s top sports editors, he is looking to reinvigorate the paper’s sports coverage. Follow Tampa Bay Times on Twitter.
