Tim Warsinskey is the next managing editor for The Plain Dealer. A veteran of the paper, Warsinskey joined the staff in 1990 and has primarily worked as a sports reporter and columnist, writing the popular weekly column ‘Tim’s Take,’ also recently serving as trending news editor. He replaces Thom Fladung, who left the paper in July 2015. In addition, Plain Dealer editor George Rodrigue will now also serve as general manager for the paper. Rodrigue was named editor in January 2015 after a decade as managing editor for The Dallas Morning News and a short stint as assistant news director for WFAA-TV (Dallas).
