Trymaine Lee, who has been a national reporter and contributor for NBC News and MSNBC Digital since 2012, will now be joining MSNBC as a correspondent. His new beats include race, politics and law enforcement in America for the prime time and weekend programming. Lee previously worked with The Huffington post and The New York Times.

After eight years with Politico, Seung Min Kim will be joining The Washington Post‘s White House team later in February. Kim will be reporting on the relationship between the Trump administration and Capitol Hill.

The Associated Press has brought on Lisa Mascaro as their chief congressional correspondent, responsible for Capitol Hill coverage. Mascaro has previously written for the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune, covering congressional races and presidential politics.

Zoë Ruderman, executive director of content and strategy of entertainment, style and sports at People.com, has been officially named editor of People Online. She has been with the magazine since 2011, serving in a myriad of different editorial and director roles.

The Detroit News says farewell to Walter Middlebrook, as he retires from his role as news editor. During his time with the paper, Middlebrook oversaw investigations for over two years, and also served as the assistant managing metro editor sine 2007. Other publications he has worked for include Newsday, The New York Times and USA Today.

WXMI-TV Fox 17 in Grand Rapids, Michigan welcomes their newest reporter, Candese Charles. She was most recently a reporter for KFYR-TV in Bismarck, North Dakota.
