After 37 years in the publishing business Kevin Kampman has announced his retirement, which includes vacating his president and publisher position of the Winston-Salem Journal at BH Media. No replacement has been named yet. Kampman first tapped into publishing in 1996 at the McAlester News-Capital and Democrat in Oklahoma. He joined BH Media in 2012  and assisted with the acquisition of nine daily newspapers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Alabama. Follow the Winston-Salem Journal on Twitter.
