ProPublica Illinois, the regional Chicago-based unit of the nonprofit news organization has taken on some new hires this month.

  • Mick Dumke has joined as a reporter from the Chicago Sun Times where he served as an investigative reporter since August 2015.
  • Logan Jaffe has joined as engagement reporter from The New York Times and Chicago Public Media.
  • Sandhya Kambhampati joined as a data reporter. She was most recently a Knight-Mozilla OpenNews Fellow at Correctiv in Berlin.
