Fortune has made several changes to the masthead following the consolidation of its print and digital teams.

  • Brian O’Keefe has been named deputy editor. O’Keefe has held a variety of positions since joining the publication in 2000, including international editor, assistant managing editor, and reporter. He previously reported for SmartMoney magazine.
  • Kristen Bellstrom is now deputy digital editor; she will continue to oversee The Broadsheet daily newsletter. Bellstrom joined Fortune from Money in 2015.
  • Anne VanderMey was upped from associate editor to senior editor. She joined Fortune from The Hartford Courant in 2010, and has also reported for BusinessWeek.
  • Jen Wieczner and Erika Fry have both been promoted to senior writers. Wieczner joined Fortune in 2013 and was previously on staff at MarketWatch, The Wall Street Journal, and SmartMoney. Fry has been on staff since 2012, and before that served as a fellow and assistant editor at Columbia Journalism Review.
