Gretchen Wirtz and Mark Welp are departing WHOI-TV after 11 years as co-anchors of the station’s morning show. The duo’s tenure at the Peoria, Illinois, ABC affiliate was the longest in the Peoria-Bloomington market, according to Adweek. Wirtz and Welp may stay with the station in reporting roles.
