Veteran tech journalist, The Verge executive editor, and Recode editor at large Walt Mossberg will retire in June. Mossberg began his renowned career at The Wall Street Journal in 1970 covering national and international affairs. In 1991 he moved to the technology beat, eventually co-founding AllThingsD at WSJ in 2007, and later striking out on his own with Recode in 2014. When Vox Media acquired the latter website in 2015, Mossberg transitioned to his current roles at The Verge (also owned by Vox) and Recode, writing columns for both sites and additionally hosting the podcast Ctrl-Walt-Delete.
